FRENCH LAVENDER

FLOWERING

 Ten month long flower display from February to November. After a flower flush is finished cut bush back by 25 cm fertilise and watch it flower in another two weeks.

LANDSCAPE

 Most tolerant of all lavenders of wet humid summers - but still needs very sharp drainage and limey soil.

FRAGRANCE

 Has the English Lavender fragrance coupled with camphor overtones. Sage also has the camphor overtones. Hence use French Lavender flowers for cooking as you would Sage.

PEST CONTROL

 Dried flowers repel clothes and wallet moths.

CULTIVATION

 Dry!Hardy perennial to 1.1 m high x 0.9 m wide.
